Relux Collision

A wrap is the fastest full transformation a car can get: a new color, a new finish, or a rolling billboard for your business, applied over your factory paint instead of replacing it. Relux Collision installs vehicle wraps in Sacramento the way a body shop does everything: panels off where it matters, edges sealed out of sight, and a finish that looks painted, not applied.

Thinking about wrapping your car? Call 916-240-2000 and tell us the look you’re after; we’ll tell you what it takes and whether a wrap is actually the right tool for it.

What a Wrap Can Do

Body-Shop Installation Is the Difference

Most wrap jobs fail at the edges: corners that lift, seams parked in sight lines, bubbles that arrived during installation and never left. Our installers approach a wrap like bodywork, because that’s the trade they come from.

Handles, badges, mirrors, and lights come off so the film wraps behind the panel rather than stopping short of it; surfaces are decontaminated the way we prep for paint; and the finished car passes the same inspection our refinish work does. The result reads factory from every angle, which is the entire point.

Wrap or PPF? An Honest Sixty Seconds

If what you want is a new look, you’re on the right page. If what you actually want is to protect the paint you already love, you want paint protection film : thicker, optically clear, self-healing, and built to absorb rock chips rather than display a color. Plenty of customers arrive asking for one and leave booking the other, and we’d rather point you right than sell you either one wrong. (Wanting both is also an answer: color up top, protection where the road bites.)

Caring for a Wrapped Vehicle

Hand wash or touchless, mild soap, no abrasive polish, and shade when you can find it; Sacramento sun is the main thing that ages a wrap. Looked after, a quality wrap holds its finish for years, and when its time comes, professional removal returns the preserved factory paint underneath.

Vehicle Wrap FAQs
How long does a car wrap last?

Several years for a professionally installed, properly cared-for wrap; sun exposure and washing habits set the pace more than miles do. We’ll give you an honest read for your parking and driving situation.

Will a wrap damage my paint?

The opposite, done right: the film shields factory paint from UV and light wear, and professional removal leaves it as it was. The caution is repainted panels, which we check before installing anything over them.

Can I wrap a leased car?

Usually yes, and it’s popular for exactly that reason: return the car to stock color at lease end. Check your lease terms; we’ll handle the removal cleanly when the time comes.

Can you wrap just part of the car?

Yes. Roofs, hoods, mirrors, and accent panels are everyday work, and partial branding on work vehicles is often the better-value play.

How long does installation take?

Depends on coverage and the car’s complexity; we’ll give you an exact timeline with your quote and hold to it.

Do you also do commercial fleet wraps?

Yes, including phased scheduling so your fleet never goes dark all at once.
